What data we collect

When you connect a bank account, Bica receives read-only access to your transaction history through regulated Open Banking (PSD2) providers. We store your transactions, account balances, and the categories you assign. We never receive or store your bank login credentials.

How we use your data

Your data is used exclusively to provide the Bica service: syncing transactions, running AI categorization, and generating your financial insights. We do not sell, share, or monetize your personal or financial data in any way.

Data security

All connections use 256-bit TLS encryption. Data is stored in encrypted databases hosted within the EU. We follow industry best practices for application security.

Data retention & deletion

You can delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, all your data — including transactions, connections, and account information — is permanently removed from our systems.

Analytics

We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool, to understand how visitors use our landing page. Umami does not use cookies and does not track personal information.
